Bryant Parks popular ice rink bumper cars are returning to Midtown on Saturday, January 14. Erica Brosnan NEW YORK (WCBS 880) The beloved bumper cars on ice are returning to Bryant Park this month. Located above the rest of the Winter Village, it gives you some amazing views of the surrounding skyscrapers, the ice rink, and the rest of the beautifully decorated Bryant Park. If you are looking for a unique place to have dinner definitely check out the Overlook restaurant. When I visited in 2022, I ended up going multiple times because there was so much to explore and it only gets bigger and better every year. It really is a magical place for kids and adults alike and is the only European inspired Christmas market of its kind in NYC. But fair warning: visitors loved them so much last year that Bryant Park extended the dates of the program and tickets still sold out.
You can really spend a whole afternoon here, ice skating, eating, drinking and enjoying the pre-Christmas atmosphere. The bumper cars return to the rink in January 2020. Countless stores ranging from home decorations, artwork, and jewelry to food sweets and gifts give you plenty to explore.
